Led by a strong, experienced management team with complementary skill sets, JPK’s goal is to become a leading, UK-based, oil and gas exploration and production company operating internationally. Initially, the Company intends to focus on extracting the potential value of the reserves of a heavy oil field in Colombia. The Company will mainly target production opportunities with exploration upside, heavy and/or light oil.

The Company’s new Board has a successful track record of developing assets and businesses in the oil and gas sector. JPK is currently exploring opportunities to acquire the rights to develop several oilfields under long-term license agreements.

In addition, they already have more than 5 years of experience in operating successful and profitable fields in Colombia.

Board of Directors

John Kenny
Chairman

John has enjoyed an extensive career in the oil and gas industry, where he has a record of creating shareholder value. He co-founded the J P Kenny group of companies, which traded internationally in oil and gas engineering, sub-sea survey and inspection, and shipping. He was a founder and director of JKX Oil & Gas plc, an LSE listed company with assets in Ukraine, Russia and Hungary. He was also non-executive chairman of Ascent Resources plc, an AIM listed company with assets in Hungary, Poland, and Slovenia. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London, and was elected as an Honorary Fellow of the College.

Nils Trulsvik
CEO

Nils N. Trulsvik is a petroleum explorationist with extensive experience throughout the world. He obtained first a degree in Geology, thereafter a degree in Geophysics. He has worked in the oil and gas business since 1974. Employed by Saga Petroleum he worked offshore Norway with assignments in the North Sea, Mediterranean, Africa, South and North America. Work included basin scale interpretation to field development projects.. After seven years with Saga, he left and together with a group of geologists and geophysicists, to form Nopec. During the thirteen years in Nopec, he worked as a petroleum exploration consultant on assignments in Northwest Europe, Africa and the Far East.

In the period from 1986 – 1989 he was a consultant to UNCTC in New York and worked extensively in West Africa. In 1984, he moved to London to start Nopec (UK) Ltd, and upon his return to Norway in 1987 became Managing Director of Nopec (since 1991 a part of PGS), a position he held until 1993. In 1994, after working a year as Special Advisor to PGS, he lead an investment group that took an equity position in Fountain Oil Incorporated, a US listed public oil & gas company. Mr. Trulsvik served as Managing Director in Fountain, until he left Fountain in 1998, to form The Bridge Group. In 1999, he joined Force Petroleum in London and was CEO until 2004, when he joined Interoil in Norway as CEO. In 2008, he co-ventured to start MultiClient Geophysical and was Chairman until 2012. Mr. Trulsvik is presently Technical Director of Starc Limited. In Colombia, he was in charge of operating several fields in the Magdalena Valley, with more that 100 employees working for him. He spent more than 5 years in Colombia both in development and in exploration.

Tracey Peverell
Lawyer

Tracey Peverell Tracey is an Australian and UK qualified lawyer, holding practicing certificates in both jurisdictions. She has over 20 years extensive experience in corporate finance and M&A transactions, and has advised exchange listed and multinational corporations on a range of commercial matters.

Tracey has advised and represented companies with interest in West Africa since 2005 and South America since 2012. She now sits on the Board of various oil exploration and investment companies providing those Boards with advice and direction on all legal issues relating to operational matters, technical workings, contractual issues, and ensures compliance with the corporate governance. Her commercial-minded approach fits perfectly with the innovative and progressive thinking of the principals of current oil exploration activities.

Jon Wiggen
Director

Jon Wiggen had his exam. as a State Authorized Public Accountant in Norway in 1976.During the period 1976 to 2006, his main occupancy was as an auditor, two periods as partner with the Norwegian affiliate of Deloitte (Deloitte &Touche at the time). Before joining Deloitte &Touche he was partner with Grimsrud & Wiggen, and from 1993 till 2006 he was partner, co- founder and CEO of Kjelstrup,Wiggen&Co, an audit firm much involved in litigation, insolvency and assistance in various kinds of economic lawsuits, partly as expert judge, and partly as consultant on both sides in such cases.

He has also been working much as a valuation expert and in M&A business. For two periods, both times by recruitment from close audit clients, he has been working as CFO, a two and a half years period for a large Norwegian conglomerate in real estate, industry, retail and exclusive cruise business (Made in AS/Seabourne Cruise Line AS), and for a two year period (2006-2008) he was CFO in Interoil E&P ASA, a listed Norwegian oil company with its business mainly in South America.

From 2008 he has been working partly as a consultant through his private company Wiggen Consult AS, partly as expert judge and member of several control committees, and partly as investor.
